Leadership encourages personal growth, as it challenges individuals to develop communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. On campus, strong leadership creates positive and supportive work environments and promotes innovation. Ultimately, leadership empowers individuals to achieve their full potential while contributing to the success and growth of their teams. There are numerous ways students can serve in leadership roles at Geneva College.

BETA

BETA is a leadership development program for first-year students. Students are nominated by faculty or staff and then receive an invitation to enter this program. BETA is not for credit, but rather a voluntary program that meets once a week during the first half of the spring semester. Students connect with one another, discover their gifting, and discern where to focus their leadership potential in ways that strengthen Christ’s Kingdom and bring restoration to humanity through initiating productive change.

Clubs and Organizations

Clubs offer opportunities to explore your interests outside of the classroom, develop valuable leadership and teamwork skills, and create lasting friendships. Whether you're looking to gain professional experience, contribute to a cause you're passionate about, or simply enjoy a hobby, being part of a club provides a supportive environment to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. You can even create your own club if Geneva does not already have what you are looking for!

CSE Student Leadership

The Center for Student Engagement wants YOU to help them lead your fellow students on campus in engaging events and activites throughout the year. The program emphasizes servant leadership, encouraging students to serve others and make a positive impact on the campus community while growing in their faith. CSE Student Leadership teams include: adventure, diversity, student activities, global engagement, and local engagment.
